-About the Course:
- BRCGS Food Safety Issue 9 – Lead Auditor course provides participants with an in-depth understanding of the BRCGS standard, including the protocol, requirements, and how to conduct audits in a practical and effective manner. Throughout the training, participants gain real experience in evaluating compliance with the standard’s requirements, understand the fundamental clauses and the Statement of Intent, and learn how to properly plan and conduct a BRCGS audit, as well as write professional and clear audit reports. The course also covers the fundamentals and techniques of auditing.
- The training approach is based on interactive learning throughout the course, using case studies and both individual and group activities. This helps develop analytical thinking and enables participants to understand how auditors evaluate the standard in real-life practice. Successfully completing the course, including passing the exam, forms part of the qualification requirements for those who wish to start a career path as a BRCGS Auditor, subject to completing the remaining steps through a BRCGS-approved certification body. This course is also included in the BRCGS Professional Recognition Programme, providing real professional value and recognition for the training.
